is there an editor that lets you edit dinkc or conver the .d files to .c files

It is possible to "decompile" (actually decompress... i don't know how secret that is) .d files, but no program for that is available for download. Maybe you could ask an expert, hehe.. i know some have made that type of program.

EDIT: Do you want to edit the original Dink story files? Don't forget that the source is included in the freeware release, inside the "develop" folder.

Actually, .d's were made to SECURE a dmod. So you should keep offa it OR look for the source for the dmod on this site.

In this day and age, I don't see anybody who really cares whether anyone gets into their scripts or not.

And I certainly don't see why people would bicker about it five months after the fact
