Beat it
Cloud Castle 2: Scarab
Got the boss mode ending. Way cool. Love the multiple ending thing. Course I had to cheat a little to do it, but there is no way you can beat that boss without at least restoring HP in my opinion.
Great game, possibly a step up from the SOB series. One of the few games I've beaten without a walkthrough. The last bit was pretty humourous with the prophet and Jameil. Wish I could have had the Nightmare sword and multi hellfire sooner, way cool magic btw.

C'mon! I can't beat him either, but you don't see me cheating!!
Incidentally, for those of you who played the game... how many of you did cheat to beat Jameil?

Uh, Jameil is pretty easy if you have some berserks and a heal or two.
I cheated too . (After trying and dying for like 30-40 times).
Cool boss-design and great game, by the way!

Didn't need to cheat to get through this excellent DMOD. If I had known how to cheat I might have after dying in the Temple of the Ancients a hundred times over several months. I tried a different tact a couple of weeks ago, by building up defense and magic points horrorshow with the Dohicky Engine and killing everything in sight to build attack points. Then got thru the Temple and Jameil with relative ease (still took 15 minutes to kill Jameil), before finishing off the Scarab Man. Hope a sequel is released; I am ridden with guilt over what Cthilmor did after I released him (hehe).
