I'm trying to install it but the install file is a .php, I'm pretty sure an installer and a "Microsoft Picture It!" document are from different worlds
I don't think it is supposed to be an installer, try uploading it to a server host and go into the url and see what happens
Thats the first thing i did, it displays that message where you can either "open" or "save". Open will display: "The specified path does not exist" and save gives me a "Microsoft Picture It!" document.
ARe you shur you did it right on www.phpbb.com? since I think you should create forum there and after that they will give you a link and there is you board, but what is you forum gonna be about?
I dunno, we can talk about when my friend's server is up and i can get my website out there, or maybe its my urge for power as an admin! Mwahahahahaha! Jk.
I just thought if it was about gaming and such, you can join my forum, I created it today, GameBase
to make phpbb work corectly you'll need a server with php. else te server isn't able to parse the php files (why did you think it was called "parsed html pages" 
).
