Ric has released a new file! I know you are amazed. I have magic mind-reading powers that you can only dream of. Heck, you probably can't even dream of how ol' Ric can create his neat 3d models with Blender, can ya? I can't. So it is a good thing the bugger released BlendTut which is supposed to help you learn how to create 3d models. So be off with it, you mere mortals upon the planes of time and fruit!

To use this you will need to install Blender from blender.org . Blender is extremely versatile, but complex. This tut shows just the basics to get you started.

Ooh, goody! Now I'll be able to make a real SabreTrout, with a pirate hat and everything!

I checked it out, and it looks really good. The only thing I ever made with blender was a sphere moving in front of a wall, and I was never able to reproduce that. Not even with tutorial.

hey simonk, how about a tutorial on how to get from blender model to dink graphics?

Hmmm, that's a good idea... I will see if I can do one in the next week.

SimonK,if you feel such a tut should be added to BlendTut feel free to add in the folder with the .blend file. ( reversion 1.1 ?) Up to you, I trust your skills.
So much to learn though. At least you have the book.
