The Dink Network

Does anyone else think we need more dragons in dmods? Mind you I'm obsessed with dragons... as if name didn't give it away...

My dmods will include more dragons. My first dmod includes a dragon as a central plot driving character (a good one that is... she hires you to retrieve her eggs from some bandits). She will appear in my future dmods of course.

Dragons are awesome.We definately need more!

Well I love them and am obsessed with them so you can garentee that my dmods will be full of them. I also think the Dink dragons are pathetic... those aren't true dragons. True dragons are much bigger and much more powerful (such as the Pilgram's Quest dragon).

I think dragons aren't used often because...

A) They have no attack sequence.

B) Their attacks are crappy.

c) They look shoote.

And unless you want to re-create the dragons from scratch, it would be rather hard to make more sequences for them, no? You think that maybe seth still has the forms for them, happenchance? Even if he did, I doubt we could get to use them anyway.

/me really hopes he's making a little bit of sence here...

Ive thought of making a set, but it seems limiting bacause making them fly just wouldn't erm.... fly.
I'm still looking to windemere as the way to go. Merlin's making the resolution high enough that large creatures will look better, even if they have to walk.

I made a new 'chinese type worm-like' dragon for my golden buddha dmod.But I never ended up using it.But I believe I left the bitmap files in the dmod anyways.I'm lazy that way.My dragon was kind of mean looking too.Rawr.

What about the Pigrams Quest dragons? None of those problems are true for them. Besides you can easily change the attack of dragons with WinDinkEdit.

Anyway, I love dragons not because they are powerful but because they are facinating.

Dragons need not be enemies. In the dmod I am currently working on I will have a dragon that sends Dink on quests.

I would like to clarify that I do not think the Dink dragons are cool, but that dragons in general are.

Yes I do. Did it occur to you that it was because it was a different point not one of the original post or the other posts. I don't like the idea of editing the posts when the points are different.

And, no I didn't realize I had done such a high percantage of the posts. Admitedly for one of the posts I had forgotten about the edit idea when the points were quite similar and one was an extension to the other.

I certainly prefer the chinese style wyrm to your stereotypical one. In fact, I wanted to have Cthilmor (from CC2) as the former for a while.

I was actually watching it again just the other day and realised how bland the humour is compared to that of these days. More to the point however I was not stating that Monty Python killed the conversation more to the fact that he let his fanatics take over the subject of conversation which had nothing to do with his initial topic Merry Christmas!
