Truth be told, I liked CC2 an iota more than Initiation, although that's purely a matter of taste. I suppose Initiation is much more advanced in terms of scripting and graphics, but CC2 has a great cast of characters, and just really fits together nicely... too close for me to even vote maybe.

Both are IMHO in the 9.5+ range.

Actually I would've thought DFArc... (or whatever you call it) would be in the development file... as you kinda need it to release and then use DMODs.

But it ain't.

Another year, Cloud Castle 2 may have won it, but I believe Initiation just has too much going for it.

Truth be told, they are very different kinds of d-mod... it's a pretty close call. But yeah, I expect Initation will win.

Initiation is cool, but I've never got past those annoying little pillbugs in CC2. I guess I don't have that button-magic I had before.

I put it in the Miscellaneous category because its primary use is to install D-Mods. Making a .dmod file is a secondary function.

Edit: oh, and I think Initiation will win the DOTM I mean, it isn't like I have total control over everything... er... ignore that.

I honestly don't know. DFarc will win Misc, Dev and D-Mod are up in the air. I haven't played through Cloud Castle 2 yet (I got to the town, and then... I didn't know what to do, so I quit because I'm lame).

Are you telling me you found Scarabs harder than the monsters in Initiation?!?

And yes, doing that does make you lame, Mr Walma.
