So true. Last year, I had a lot of free time at lunch to read the classics (mostly short stories). I read some Vonnegut (sp?) Dostoyevsky, Hemmingway... but Kafka definitely rocked more consistently than the others (perhaps because his work was less varied).

Although he's dead, he should have a posse (like fidy's "G-unit") called "K-unit". That'd be cool.

Pfft... Kafka? You should go with Kefka. An evil clown guy with godlike magical powers beats a dead writer any day.

Actually...Striker the same thing entered my mind when I saw the subject...FF6 is the best one they made!

What exactly did Kafka right about though?

Sincerely,

I'm not sure if I support the "K-Unit" idea. "Ye Gangster Of Olde?"

FF6 is the best one they made!?

FF6 was the pinncle of achievement for the series, after that one, it started going downhill. FF7 was almost as good, but not quite. I found FF5's story to be pretty weak, but then, I only played the beginning and a friend tells me it gets awesome at a certain point. FF4 was also solid (I want a 5 character party again!). And the original, well... none in the series can match its addictiveness.

Aye, Kafka is fairly neato. There's a main character in Paragon (a D-Mod that I'm working on that may not be released) named Kafka, who is sort of based on Metamorphosis crossed with half an episode of South Park that I once saw.

I love FF4 for the amount of characters you get to play. And FF5 is great. I thoroughly enjoyed it, though it does get better as it progresses. What I dislike in FF6 are those silly key combos you have to make to have them (or is it only SABIN?) perform special attacks. also those characters are fudgeing ugly.

It's just Sabin (and Gogo, sort of), who was my favorite character, aside from Celes and Shadow. If you mastered them, (which I did) Sabin could become absolutely devastating.

Did you know I nearly got everything in FF6, but I never used Sabin's techniques except the first three? They would never work! I really hate that I have no idea what the other ones look like.

Wow... really? His techniques are done like how you would do special moves in street fighting games.

Bum Rush = just plain awesome. Not as cool looking as the most powerful spells/summons, but really, really powerful and it has unlimited uses.

Also, I was somehow able to make Sabin naturally immune to basic elemental damage (fire, ice, lightning) both times I played through the game. I have no idea how that was done though. I just used him a lot, I guess. There were few foes that could even match his abilities.
