Sorry. I have 4 inane questions:
1. Will Windemere run old Dmods?
2. Will Windemere "patch" Dink? Or will it be standalone?
3. Will (I hope the answer to this is "no") DinkC++ run scripts written in the current DinkC?
4. Following up on question 3, will "locals" i.e., variables declared in some procedure still have a scope consisting of the entire script? (grrr...) And whatever shall happen to the ampersand?

1. It should. At least it does at the moment.
2. Yes.
3. Depends on how the script is written (and how I feel before I release it). The general goal is yes.
4. DinkC++ supports functions and includes (I know -- it works), so the answer is no. And ampersand will probably stay.

I see that there has been some recent activity on your site. Nothing new in the changelogs though.
Are the other guys still off the project?
Has any progress been made?
Can you give us an estimate of when it will be released?
How much wood would a woodchuck chuch if a wood chuck could play Windmere?

Sourceforge took dcron down and now you can't do timed activities. They'll probably put it back up soon.

More than a woodchuck that could spell Windemere correctly.

Milo : Will Windemere "patch" Dink? Or will it be standalone?
Merlin : Yes
Can we have a proper answer please, oh great and mighty wizard?

I like to think of it as a standalone patch. But you don't need dink in the folder for it to work, so it's more standalone.
Will Windemere protect me from the aftermath of a nuclear disaster by missling the huge Japanese b-movie lizards which will arise from the radioactive sludge?
