yesterday i went to six flags over texas in arlington to see grits, pillar, the oc supertones, and relient k in concert. all of the bands were great, especially the supertones. the only one i couldn't really get into was relient k, because of how much they greatly resembled newfound glory. but, even if you didn't like the music that they played, you could absolutely love them live, even you apathetic jerks. has anyone seen any of these guys on tour yet?

I've only heard of the OC Supertones and maybe Pillar. And I think I'm glad I haven't previously heard of Relient K.

Unfortunately, I have not seen anyone on tour, since I never get out and have no cash anyway.

Six Flags is an amusement park in California. Or are you talking about a different Six Flags?

EDIT: My bad, I was thinking of Six Flags: Magic Mountain.

ive seen all the bands besides reliant k like 2 years ago, supertones were the only one that i liked because it is ska and ska is pretty cool. it was at some stupid christian venue though so the security people tried to make kids stop "skanking" i guess its a sin or something but anyway we were all doing it anyway and they got pissed off and tried to kick people out.

i saw this other band called "spoken" there and they were the best one. they are like a mix between AFI and RATM, i liked them so much i got the CD after seeing them and there was a pretty nice pit, even though a big ass redneck security guy tried to make me leave but i just stood there and he eventually went away.

yeah, ska is awesome, and that's why i was especially fond of the supertones. it was a christian venue as well; the security people didn't care that we were skanking, but they got really mad when people started trying to jump up on stage and do it.

oh man it was total bs, i saw a security guy choke down some kid cause he did one of those hand wave skank moves in the guys face after he yelled at kids to stop dancing and i wanted to punch the crap out of him, he is lucky all the wussy kids were in the way

See, I've heard stories like that before, but I've never met the guy saying, "hey, I got my ribs stomped in by skinheads at a concert."

Yeah, you'd think they'd mention something about that considering how much emo kids whine about stuff.

some skinhead was starting stuff in a pit at some small local show i was at but he wasnt around for very long.

also dropkick murphys w/ anti flag... now there was a pit war right there.

most skinheads i think are nice though, as long as you dont tell them their haircut sucks and they should stop being all patriotic.
