Have not played for awhile, just extracted SOB and then patch 14a. Fired up the frontend and loaded SOB to play for first time....everything is running at a verrrrrry fast speed, checked several other mods that I have played and they were also now very fast.

Same hardware and software except for latest MS patches....can anyone suggest something to try.

Also have lowered refresh to 60, and incrementally lower acceleration to none...still have same problem. Am running at 1280x1024, tried lowering that but no joy. I did install latest ATI graphic drivers for my 9600.

It does seem that your latest ATI Catalyst drivers are to blame. If you remember what version you had before, you might want to 'downgrade' them.
