Games
I'll admit I suck when it comes to making D-Mods, but I have been studying programming. 9I'm gonna make a Dink game without using Dinkedit, but with the Dink sprite pack.
I don't need a hex editer. I only know a bit of advanced programming, but all this time i haven't had the internet, I've made over thirteen games. I'd love to upload them, but I doubt Redink1 would let me, as they aren't Dink related.
Er, you kind of have to hex edit to make a game without using the Dink Editor.

Right, you could use things like GameMaker, RpgMaker etc. Or just start from scratch with Basic, Pascal, C or whatever language you prefer.
Uh, duh, he implied he wouldn't be using the Dink engine in his very first post.
I'm not gonna tell anyone what I'm using for now. But since it won't be automated, like Dinkedit, it's gonna take quite a long time. I started working on it yesterday. I'm gonna do it in segments, starting with the basic part of the game, and releasing it again and again, whenevr I add more quests, If thats alright with Redink1. How far this game gets, depends on how many people want me to keep building on it.
Uh, no he didn't: I'm gonna make a Dink game without using Dinkedit...
Dinkedit relies on the Dink engine. As far as I know, it's impossible to make a game using the dink engine and make it without Dinkedit. And I was trying to make the impression that I wasn't using Dinkedit or the Dink engine.

It's very possible. I seriously doubt anyone would try though. A hex editor would be needed along with knowledge of the map.dat file and how it's interpreted.
