I've played Dink Smallwood for everything has always run smoothly...that was on my old computer. I recently bought a new computer (actually, msot of the parts for my computer were upgraded). Everythig is better and faster...and Dink is faster as well. When I try to move, there is no movemt, jsut a here to ther, he's like a speeding bullet. I was just wondering if tehr was soem way I could alter the game to slow it down, or anything that could slow it down....
A small search brought up the answer. Try it! But try lowering your refresh rate.

I found it with the help of my dad, but any setting that I set it to, it stays the same, if not makes the game go faster...
In Windows, Right-click on the desktop, select Properties, then Settings. The option should be somewhere in there.

Well, nothing worked, so I jsut put in the patch.... I'm thinking mistake, as its now almost twice as fast... any ideas *sighs*
Try right-clicking on the Dink front-end, got to properties, select run in compatability with Windows 98. See if this helps.

I got this problem when I tried to play on XP. Slowing the refresh rate not helped, but on my video card properties, (control panel, or right-click desktop > Properties > Settings, somewhere around here) I reduced the hardware acceleration, and it worked. But I don't know if this option displays only on my card... Well, try it.
And sorry for my poor english.
