Cannot download from gamespy
Why is it not possible to download ANY dink-file from gamespy (fileplanet). Does it no longer host dmods? I see that its possible to get it from Yahoo, I tried but failed somehow, and I really HATE to go through those new signup procedures! Is that really necessary? Why cant there be direct downloads from THIS site, for instance??

I was just about to ask the same question. What's up with fileplanet, nothing is working. When i searched fileplanet it just brought up the original Dink and one of ThinkDinks' mods. And you can only get the newest D-Mod's from Yahoo. Fileplanet has been down since at least 7 last night, thats when i tried to download something. Can one of the staff give us some answers. - Xanthos
Hmm... it does appear that Fileplanet has ceased to work for hosted sites such as The Dink Network.
Stealing a comment by dalin at Morrowind Summit:
I've contacted techsupport and they assure me they are aware of the problem, and are working to correct the matter. I'm not positive, but it may have something to do with the recent upgrades that went into effect last week. At any rate, just hang tight, and the free servers should be back online real soon.

Thanks redink for the quick reply, thought it was something like that. - Xanthos
Hopefully they get the servers back up, because I had no way to get any of the Dink files last night, and I want to start learning Dmodding!
Fileplanet seems to be back up, at the moment anyway.
Great! But why can't we have direct download from the Dink Network Site?
Are you willing to pay anywhere from $30 to $100 a month?
But we do have the larger epics on Fileburst, which is direct download, no wait, and costs me $1 per GB transferred, or about $15 a month. Though that will probably be going away rather soon, as it just isn't worth the money.
