DinkHD Turbo - Wait interaction
When playing in DinkHD you have the option to turn on turbo mode to play the game faster and speed through cutscenes and what not. It's a cool feature.
However the way turbo mode interacts with wait is pretty wonky. A clear way to see this is by looking at the Bangerang Boomerang file.
Dink throws the boomerang, and after a specific wait time the boomerang switches direction. Normally he might throw the boomerang half way across the screen. Now try turbo mode. It flies all the way off screen.
This could also affect balance with things like timers or enemies like dragons that use callback commands.

Oh that's nothing, it also buffs the fireball/hellfire's projectile speed. Sometimes in case of Hellfire, hit the target more than intended.
Huh. Must be some places that are using the system timer instead of the game timer, something like that. However, it could also be more complicated, because the original Dink tied system logic into the frame rate, but Dink HD has untied them.
So game logic can run 3x, but rendering only 1x in that time - there could be some side effects tied to that as well.
