Huh. Must be some places that are using the system timer instead of the game timer, something like that. However, it could also be more complicated, because the original Dink tied system logic into the frame rate, but Dink HD has untied them.
So game logic can run 3x, but rendering only 1x in that time - there could be some side effects tied to that as well.
