Dink don't run too good halp
So I'm tryna get back to work on my dmod, but its annoying cuz when i play test it, it doesnt run very well.
Im running windows 10,
tried running it with the xp service pack and admin mode.
Didnt work.
It seems to run real slow when I walk into a screen with tons of sprites
anyone know what i gotta do to get her going like she sposed too?

Play with FreeDink.
The last system regular 108 worked well for me on was Windows XP.

don't use windows 10.
The same thing happens with Windows 7. Dink Smallwood 1.08 runs fine till Windows XP. After that, you have to use FreeDink.

not even close to true. it works fine and i even used to play it on piece of shit vista.
I also have to disagree. I am using Windows 8.1 on my laptop and both Freedink and original Dink/DFarc 2 work fine. I actually even prefer to use the earlier version because of one fact: in Freedink the game screen is limited, squared and parts of the screen to the left and to the right from it are black and unused while the DFarc2 seems to be self-adjusting to the available screen and the game runs in a true full-screen mode.
Yeah I remember being able to get it working on windows 8 somehow...

On Windows 8 or 8.1? Because it can make a difference. For me the original Dink was working under this system from the very beginning.
