Paranormal Activity: Dink Network Edition
So I watched a few ghost story videos on youtube and even some creepy ass videos. I don't know if I asked you guys this before, but did something paranormal ever happen to you?
one time, i was on call with someone and when we were talking and shit or whatever, this shadow appeared behind me and we both saw it. pretty sure i didn't move and a car didn't go by either. it was just a spook.
Once, when I was staying at an old farmhouse in Minnesota, on the final day I was there, I was staring up at the light on the ceiling, drowsing as dawn was just beginning to break. After probably like 20 minutes of staring, I suddenly hear a loud *click* and the light turns on. The switch in the room had been flipped in that moment, though I was the only one in the room. To this day I still have no idea how that happened.
I was once alone in my room and the music box started playing itself 0.0
I watched the first episode of Ghost Stories dubbed. It wasn't scary. It was pretty funny though.
Saw my great aunt's ghost when I was 5 and a half. She was standing in the back yard, looking to the east. Then there was the time I heard a banshee. Late at night it was, the air was still and soft.Deep within the endless, dark evergreen woods came the saddest cries of a woman. They couldn't have been a living being's cries. The cries were so hollow, so empty. Curious, I went forth into the woods to see what lonely dark being was behind these sounds. The cries, my god the cries. They started filling my heart with sorrow. I cupped ears with my hands to block the cries. Then I remembered what my great uncle said about banshees. "They cry when death is near"
I retreated back to the house and sat in a chair with my head in my hands. Next day, a neighbor, a man I barely even knew. Was found dead in his house. They say he died of heart failure.
Or so they say. Hmmmm...
Then there was a time when a friend of mine went to go hunt for a wendigo that was allegedly seen in his hometown.
He saw some weird shit.

One time I got up in the middle of the night to use the toilet, while I was washing my hands I heard a ghostly moan from behind me, I spun around quickly but of course, there was nothing there.
A few nights later I got up to use the toilet again, and while I was washing my hands again I heard the moaning.
This time I spun around and RAN to the source of the noise.
It was the toilet cistern filling with water.

So, my cousin's home is a hotbed of paranormal activity because they're so attuned to the spirit world that spirits practically flock to him for one reason or another.
I stayed for a year. I didn't leave because of weird stuff happening, but because I couldn't pay rent. Anyway, I remember being in my room, laying on my bed, relaxing before going to sleep, when I heard someone whisper in my ear, "She's here!' It spooked me a bit. Then there was the night where a centipede creature was spying on me. Imagine Koh the Face Stealer, and you've got a fairly accurate description of the thing. It was trying to pass itself off as a human spirit, showing only its face through the wall. I'm fairly certain it wasn't there to be friendly.
Then there was the time that my cousin was getting rid of some stuff and was going to sell a nice suit that was too small for him. Every time he went to take a picture of the suit, his cat would get in the way of the shot and try to take it down. This, and every picture would have a white streak on it, even though there wasn't anything on the lens. Given that his deceased mother was the one who helped him pick it out, it stands to reason that her spirit was saying, 'You're not selling this.'
Now, this is a bit more funny than not, and actually ties in with me being a Therian. So, one of the things that is commonly thought to be a thing with Therians is astral shifting, in which the astral body of a person shifts into that of their theriotype. One of my theriotypes is a dragon, a big one, and I was at the moment very much dragon-shifted. I was sitting outside, enjoying a nice warm day, basically sunning myself. Every so often, a person would pass by. When they got to a certain radius of me, even if they weren't paying attention to me or were distracted, they'd divert their course off the sidewalk and onto the road before stepping back onto the sidewalk. These are people who don't know me, have no opinions of me, and would otherwise not give a person sitting outside a wide berth. Their path happened to go around where my astral body was. To me, it seems like they were unconsciously walking around a dragon laying on the ground, and I honestly can't think of any reason why comparatively normal people would walk out of their way to walk past some rando they don't even know.
