would anyone be up for an updated model of dink post/original game? where perhaps he is more knightly/more well dressed with ornate armor, his dumb red hair (with a goatee) maybe? and a cooler look about him? this will be released when it's finished (I PROMISE GUYS THIS IS THE ONE)

just dink after the events of the original game, higher up on the chain, more knightly, all modeled from scratch, maybe with a new weapon and a pet duck with it's own model (if i feel like it, heh)

If there's a way to program a lasso that makes a sprite only be able to walk so far away from the player then i'd definitely make a duck sidekick that you have to protect and care about

yeah i've done that countless times however, and my method is pretty streamlined. Even gonna be pallette'd w/ shadows too! gonna try to make it indistinguishable from the original graphics of the game

You should also make a future Dink who has white hair and shit and then make a Dmod where some alternate hero encounters him and shit and he's really grim and veteranny and shit, and hangs out in bars where drunks try to duck with him and end up being obliterated by his old hero power.

And then the alternate hero is being trained by Dank and since Dank becomes a tutor, he is affected by Obi Wan Kenobi's curse and ends up being killed in the most heroic fashion possible where he goes out swinging against a foe he knows is way too powerful for him just so his student can escape.

Then it turns out his sacrifice unleashed his spirit into the world which helps the student on his quest the rest of the way.

Then make use of the avi player thingy script and have it play an edited version of the end scene from Star Wars where some force ghosts appear, but make one Dink; another, Dink's mom; and another, Milder.

Then have an extra force ghost of Seth appear who is apparently now friends with them because they found common ground when they played cards in the otherworld.

Afterwards, Dink's student goes on to become Jesus and he cures the world of every single ailment in existence and everyone lives in supreme harmony.

Oh, and also, there was an issue of Dink's honour which is why he was in a bar all the time, but at the very end, have a shot of a new statue of Dink being erected by the very people who thought he did some sort of horrible crime against the king.

Then have Dink's student walk up and place Dink's lightsword and arm bandana on the statue's base and then put on his own bandana (red or blue, whichever is more dramatic) to become the new Dink.

Mostly I just wish you'd sit it through and finish one of these things. All of them have looked quite neat. Even that one fox guy in shorts that I still keep seeing in my nightmares.

It looks good. I don't see Dink hidden anywhere in there, though. Looks more like a completely original character.

Give him the green tights and arm bandana. Just have the tights visible underneath the leg armour. Perhaps even have the vest exposed somewhere.

Well... I was expecting you to add some sort of an armour on the already existing Dink sprites, making it appear Dink was wearing some armour on top of his regular outfit. As it is, looks great but could be anyone. Doesn't really look like Dink.

Perhaps it's just his ceremonial sword upon becoming a knight and he just likes it enough to carry it around all the time and not actually use it.
