Age of Empires help!
Good news: I bought myself a pack of the two first age games plus their add-os PLUS THEIR SOUNDTRACKS!
Bad news: I doesn't work on my windows 7!

You can't play the game unless you got windows-lower-than-7!

Right click on the .exe, go properties > compatibility > windows XP (or something like that).
Play around with the compatibility settings. You (probably) won't damage anything.

If what shnapper suggested doesn't work right off the bat, try also running the game as an administrator.

Other compatibility options that might help are the "reduced colour mode", and running the game in a 640x480 resolution. I'll say though, I've had similar problems with the palette screwing up in some old games, and never found any way to fix it. 
Err, not to be a downer or anything; the AOE series is still pretty popular, so other people are bound to have experienced the same issues and found ways to fix them.

Get The Forgotten Empires, an unofficial expansion for it. It contains a fix for color problems and lets you play in high resolution. That is if you have The Conquerors installed.
Otherwise, get the HD edition of AoE and Forgotten DLC (Basically Microsoft took the Forgotten Empire and made a paid DLC. It's pretty worth it) they are on Steam.

I alredy tried the compatibility and the administrater even TOGHETER AT ONCE and it didn't work at all.

I got Age of Empires collectior's edition which contains...:AoE 1,AoE 1 the rise of rome,AoE 2 and.. AoE CONQUERORS!
So the forgotten empires should be fine,but what about the First game?

If ya ever going to play AoE 1 on newer system. Get this.
Since you have Rise of Rome. You won't have a problem with installing it, since that's the expansion that this unofficial patch requires.

Batch file is the best way, scratcher posted the link. Also, i think forgotten empires havr some pretty messed up AI, better stick with conquerors.

Yes, the AI is difficult, but only in skirmish mode and besides. You can switch to the classic one while choosing an AI type.

Yeah, but I also think that AI for new civs isn't completed. So If you play against Slavs ( on water, land, or some specific map for each civ ), the AI won't know what to do, and you'll end up killing only peasants. Make no mistake, genocide is wrong! Even in video games.

So I discovered that games have the normal color in windowed mode. So with the help of GOKUSSJ6's unofficial patch link,i put AoE1 in windowed mode,BUT resized the game to the screen size! So now i have the game in (let's say) "fake fullscreen"
As for AoE 2,I found another unofficial patch on the internet and did the same thing and put it in window mode ad it worked! But i i couldn't resize the window. So i must find a way to resize the window in AoE2 and make it "fake fullscreen",or i will play the game having my eyes at a distace of 2cm away from the screen because the window is microscopic!
