Sony Vegas is a total joke
Really, I'm super glad I torrented this pile of unstable crap. I am inconsistently unable to render my stuff. Sometimes it freezes somewhere random, most times it freezes at 100% like this.
Hell, one time it actually finished, but my resulting video looked like shite and had funny little glitches like this.
Hell, here's a thread that nobody has posted in because I'm an uninteresting piece of shit.
My rendering threads are at 16 as they cannot go any higher, I set the preview RAM to 8000 once which didn't help...set it to 0 which didn't help...and I once tried rendering in 720p which I will not be doing if it works because the source videos are 1080p and one scene already looks dark and shitty enough because we had some pretty stupid shooting conditions. GPU acceleration is off.
Source videos are 1080p and shot with Sony HDR-CX290 which is cool, because that means Sony's hardware and software don't work well with eachother.
Dumbshit specs -
So what's a good fix for this crap?
EDIT: Duck, change it to off-topic.

First off, you're using a cracked/modded copy of the software. Errors are prone to happen.
Can't really see anything else that could be the problem. Your RAM isn't of quality but it isn't of much concern regarding the render quality.
I always render to another hard drive (or an SSD if the output file is small enough) to reduce the load, it works very well.

The fact that it's cracked has nothing to do with the render errors. This is extremely common with Vegas 12.
Not sure what you mean when you say my RAM isn't of quality. It's worked before, it's just not working for this one now, and if it does, it looks like crap.
I don't particularly like the idea of rendering to another drive. I could do that, but it'd be external via USB and I don't know just how safe that'd be.

Heh, of course not.
Regarding RAM, I noticed its slow in comparison of your other hardware. But it shouldn't affect render quality afaik. And yes, I also think trying an external hard drive is a bad idea.

I see absolutely no reason why it would be shittier when cracked. Makes no sense.
But, yeah. I still have room for two other 8 gig chips, but I don't really feel like getting more and installing them and whatnot even though they at least don't require weird cord management. But I mean...it's probably a long reach, so I'd probably need to take shit out to get to that point.

Yeah, the only thing I see spec-wise is the RAM. It's slooow but got more than enough storage.

16 gigs being slooow is news to me.
I should though, because who knows when Google will duck up further and make their browser take up say, 20 gigabytes of ram. -_-

802MHz (11-11-11-28)
This is the slow part.
