Registry Key?
I can't get the image to show up - are you getting this error message?
If so, it is failing to find the registry key HKLM\Software\RTSOFT\Dink Smallwood\Path , which contains the path to where Dink is installed. Re-installing Dink should fix it, or you could add the registry key manually.
Warning: you do not have a Dink Smallwood Path registry key. Trying to find the deprecated dinksmallwood.ini file (may be inaccurate).

Yep, that's it. No idea why the hell that's decided to vanish.
May have something to do with why Windinkedit+ 2 crashed as well.
EDIT: Re-added, but doesn't work for some reason.

Funny, I actually have this same problem. Dink still runs though, so I never bothered to figure out what happened. For me it happened when I reinstalled windows, so reinstalling Dink makes sense. Just shows how lazy I am, not even reinstalling Dink...
Yep, same here. But I just don't want to do too much file management...which is also why I have excess of 100,000 files and 7000 folders spread out that I want to somehow organize but never get to.
Editor crashes upon trying to load screens though, so it's problematic. Haven't tried out the DMODs, though.

Bump. Don't delete this. Still breaks when I try to do anything in the editor that involves EDITING.
Dink editor doesn't like to display sprites, because I can click an empty screen, make it, but if I scroll down to a screen that has stuff in it, it explodes into a burst of diarrhea.

Could we see said diarrhea?
Also I see anvil studio, cute
EDIT: And tor.
Hm...

Works now. Apparently I just had to move my Dink folder to Program files.
...even though Dink in program files has proven to be problematic...at least if that's it's first place?
Whatever.

In my desktop-situated labyrinth.
You are correct that I need to clean my desktop as files are once again flying off screen, however, you must not know of my "Labyrinth". It is a 7,646-folder dungeon filled to the brim with 180,870 deadly files, all of which are too menacing and strong to most brave adventurers.
I cleaned my computer today. Removed about 15gb of junk, updated my OS from snow leopard to mavericks, installed a cool thing that allows me to control my fans, and did some maintenance work. My computer is probably super happy right now. Or at least it will be once someone creates a program that calculates how your computer is "feeling". Actually that probably exists already.
You can do it too skornykins!
