Yes! It was such an occassion that I saved a screenshot of it. I'm used to getting those things in my email, but it's new to see that on TDN. (I hope this isn't a sign of things to come)

If you're really curious, you might as well reply to it and sate your curiousity. Just don't give any personal details, because it is a scam, and whenever some poor fool is actually gullible enough to buy into it, they will tell you to send them money.

In other words, it's kind of like Tal or SabreTrout. I forget which. I'm sure one of them will tell you to send them money if you talk to them.

As long as you don't give any personal information, they'll go away because we know they're a scam. (And because all it takes is the mods getting their IP and sending it to the authorities.)

If it's someone in need, they wouldn't ask a forum of gamers who play an obscure video game that nobody's really ever heard of.

But we are wise about computers and the internet, so thats a reason, right?

People who can spot a scam are not good targets.

What if they got amnesia or could only spot some delicious pieces of spam, could the spam people even see all this.

It's a scam, spam, and sent to you by an automated bot that does this across any forum, web form or e-mail it can find.

What about everyone else, I have yet to even get a bank account without my dad or mom there, or a fake id maybe.
