Dink music
Who are the composers of Dink music tracks ?
Many of them are classical compositions, but not all of them.
I believe I remember RTSoft replied to this question, but nothing too specific.
I understand their laid-back attitude, but is it possible they REALLY don't remember who were the composers of the music ?
It's not a big deal,of course, but I would really like to know at least who composed tracks like "9" (the Mog battle music) and "Wanderer". If I remember correctly, the "9" is actually called "Battle" (you can see it in WMP,but it says nothing about the author).
Is it possible to find the original tracks somewhere (besides in MIDI or the lossy MP3) ?

Well, I can at least point you to this rendition of 1:
Prelude in C (BWV 846)
Unfortunately that's the only other variation of a Dink track I know of personally.
Edit: Good timing, Leprochaun.

Yes,I've seen the credits. Thanks anyway,Leprochaun.
Would it be copyright infringement if somebody would post an image of original Dink CD on the web (now that it's freeware anyway) ?
Hope not.
I mean the original, not just the music or movie. It would also be great if someone would take the effort of making a quality upload of music (that means original or at least a lossless format).
I know this might look like a wishlist of a whiny little brat, but really,it's just some of my ideas put together in a single forum post.
Does anybody even still have the disk ?

They're all present in Dink HD. I have a cracked disc image of Dink around somewhere. I'll upload it at some point unless someone objects to it. The original CD used copy protection so you couldn't just make an image of it with the expectation that it would work.
Apologies for double-posting, it just makes it easier in the event that Iridon Interactive issues a cease and desist
. I have uploaded some files to my server. You will probably want the ECM file, and the unecm program. That one is a scene release of the original Dink Smallwood CD. The other one in the Russian Dink folder is another scene release in Russian I downloaded after reading this thread a while ago. You can use wget or maybe Downthemall to mirror all the files easily.
A newer version of the ECM tools is available here: http://www.neillcorlett.com/cmdpack/
