We're already a few days into Steam's annual Summer Sale where you can buy games at huge discounts.

What's everyone getting, want, or already bought from the sale?

I've already picked up Scribblenaut's Unlimited, Sleeping Dogs, Overlord, and Fallout: New Vegas. I'm trying to catch Dark Souls at 75% off, but missed it twice on the flash sales due to sleep and work I'm also keeping an eye on Skyrim seeing how low it goes.

The world could always use more heroes
Sadly I won't be going for anything, because I have almost no money, plus my laptop crapped out on me yesterday.

First time watching the Steam sales. I had no idea they put so much on sale

I've got universe sandbox, supermeatboy, mirrors edge, system shock 2, faster than light, and bioshock 2 all for less than US$5 each. Don't know when I will be able to play any of them though

This is also my first time watching the Steam sales, at least with intentions of making purchases. I have to say, I've convinced myself it would cost me money not to buy these games.

So which ones, Pillbug?

I've been buying too many games on sale lately, but I've been away from gaming for ages and I'm feeling the need to make up for lost time. So I won't get many during this sale. But I'm buying QUBE as we speak. I've been waiting for it since playing Portal. It seems similar but different enough not to be a knockoff. Mirror's Edge is also very tempting. I like to imagine it's Chell after Portal, putting her acrobatic skills to good use. Can you detect a theme here? Skyrim is also tempting, but that's a good idea about watching how low it goes. Maybe if it gets down to 50%. I have dozens of games I'm not playing already. Plus I haven't even finished Oblivion.

Did anybody buy anything during the GOG summer sale? That's where I bought most of my recent games.

The main one I'm looking at now is the Arma II collection. Not for Arma II, of course, but so that I can play DayZ. Been wanting to play it for awhile, now would be a good time for me to buy it.
