Ok, so one or two messages have asked for a discussion about the chat in IRC. The problem is that we don't currently have any moderators sitting on their butts at home, ready to moderate a chat. And what's more, I have to have Phoenix around to renew my admin status in the chatroom. So... we're stuck without admin until Phoenix is back from Finland. Now, if you think you can all be good children and discuss this in a civilized manner, I'd like you to feel free to schedule an unmoderated chat. Anyone who wants to contribute to the discussion of the source (only *serious* discussion, please, no n00bs who want to request dumb features like fresh donuts with the restructured engine), please post here regarding what time is most convenient for you to attend a chat. I'll check back here tonight and post a general announcement about as to what time the official unmoderated chat will be at.

Please take note: while this is an unmoderated chat, as there are no mods availible, I expect everyone present to act in a civilized manner. The chatroom is the official DN chatroom, and as such is an extension of the DN. Anything you'd be punished for saying or doing on the board, you can also be punished for in the chatroom. So keep it clean, kiddies.

for me, anytime is good because i'm on at just about all hours of the day. since most of the dinkers here are from several parts of the world, i'd say anywhere from about 11am-5pm for our time, allikitten

well, I'd have no problem to moderate, I usually irc/idle 24/7 anyway, so I'd always be there..

civilized manner....this can not happen, I will not stand for it. I'll be there!

I want to attend one. But please do so before july 24th, then I'll be gone. so yeah.
