Dinkulum Said I Should Make This Thread
When I decided I was going to make a dmod, it was a contradicting mix of spur of the moment and planning. I had no story ideas for Moon Child so I pretty much decided to screw story and focus on the mapping and trying to learn as much about DinkC as I could. This explains why there is something interactive on almost every screen .
Basically the idea was to learn things in waves. So for the dmod I'm working on currently I'm putting a lot of focus into visions, violence, and decisions. I've already built the map, written the story, and done a few of the scripts(However I still have a lot left). I promise it will have a much more serious tone- there will still be comic relief though.
I don't want to plan ahead too far, but I have plans for a dmod after that. It would have a strong focus on magic and cutscenes. I think I got bored one day and built a really rough introduction cutscene for it. But that's all there is to it right now.
I'm not really sure what this is other than insight into my brain...

Looking forward to it. Honestly, the single coolest thing to behold, and this is true for many things, is to watch a human being progress in a particular field. So, I can't wait to see these waves take you further and further into some really nice d-mods in the future
Moon Child was a simple d-mod, but I had fun playing it^^

You already beat it? That was fast.

And a good idea for other people to try!
And I second everything Kyle said, except that I haven't played it yet.

Nope I haven't beaten it due to a bug. But I enjoyed playing it I'll probably get back into it at some point when you've fixed all of the issues^^ I guess what I wanted to say is it's a pretty nice first d-mod.
What was the bug?
Screen stayed black after a scene (or map change, I don't remember), loaded and it happened again. Back in the day when I had more time for d-mods I used to fix the issues myself, but I can't bring up that motivation anymore, since I'm putting whatever motivation I have into my own projects xD
Do you know what was on the screen?
I just want to know what screen it was so I'll know where to look when I go to fix things.

It's probably the slime caves - there's an infinite loop with no wait in the blob scripts, so the game hangs every time.
