The Dark Avilan: Demo? Limited demo? Or no demo?
What the subject says. Give me your opinion.
Should I release a demo or not? Or should I release a demo to a few people only? (To see what they think).
The full release won't be ready until late February. That is assuming I continue to work on it quite often, like I have been lately.

Depends. I thought of releasing a demo for HH2, but I felt like I had more motive to finish it if I didn't. But then again, I guess some people would have more motive to finish their D-Mod after they hear people's positive feedback about it.

I think it's nice to get a complete product instead of a "crippled" one. So I'd go for no demo.
Then again, being privileged to see the demo before others is nice. So a closed demo for a few people sounds good. It can also serve as a beta-test, which is good, too. So I'd go for a closed demo, and offer myself as one of the few people to receive it.
Your choice to make no demo, a closed demo, or ignore me and do something else.

I don't see the point in making a demo for just a few people - if they're testing then they should have the full thing anyway.
IMO if you release a demo it should be short and more like a trailer than a romp sized D-Mod. If you aim to have it done within 3 months or so then personally I'd rather wait for the full version
