Why do humans get bored easily compared to other animals
It seems that way to me.
Ehhhhh.. not really
Well, I've always had the opinion that most animals' brains are very similar to those of a human baby's. I mean, of course there are differences such as fishes or snakes or something, but even then, I feel there is something very similar there. Dogs are a wonderful example. They have personalities, they learn and get used to people around them, just like human babies, but unlike us, they never evolve any further. They just stay that way.
So here's my question/answer: Did you ever feel bored as a baby?

Humand and animals all have the capabilities to be bored. A dog will be bored as much as a cat will be bored as mush as a human will be bored.
The only difference is that most animals find ways to indulge their instincts.

Elephants get bored - they stand and sway (rock side to side) when they are...
It's not necessarily humans getting bored as much as modern humans getting bored. We get so many stimuli throughout the day that we're basically addicted to them.

Lol, I guess animals just have primitive reasons for living like finding food, staying fit, surviving, reproducing etc. While human beings are more complex and desire more fulfilling ways of living. We don't need the survival mentality of animals so we indulge in sophisticated ways of living, meaning that we get tired of less promising activities or the repitition of a certain activity etc.
