Wasn't Slenderman some kinda child raping/killing character in an urban legend or something? This would make the character controlled in the game a little girl. o_O

I don't know about 'little' girl, but the character you play is indeed female.

huh I recal the legend was if you go into a forest at night and you see him he will try to kill you. I may be wrong though.

Judging by the amount of pictures with children in them, when you search for 'slenderman', it indeed has something to do with that.
