Perhaps you just need to start smaller projects.

The thing is, my most recent game was Toast of Doom and it was fairly long.

You do suck, and it's probably a good thing these abominations never saw the light of day.

Also though, there's nothing unusual about starting a lot of projects and abandoning most of them before they get very far at all. Most people just don't bother to announce all of that in public (which Marpro was getting at).

If there's anything that can help, it's doing the groundwork better (having the story roughly drafted out, the places the game is going to take place in, etc), as well as being critical about your own ideas. If you find yourself working on something called "Jesus Island", that means you've failed.

I didn't mean my post totally seriously, probably could have worded that better... I just can't see how you could've ever thought "Jesus Island" sounds like a good name, or a good premise. It's the same deal with a lot of your other stuff, like you intentionally set out to create complete bullshoot.

That's not to say a dmod with a stupid name can't be good, but it doesn't surprise me if things called "Jesus Island", "The Doom of the Idiots" or "The Adventures of Prince Creamy and Pals" never get finished. ;/

Scratcher, are you seriously bothering to explain him? He knows exactly what you meant, he just wants to be a troll. Although you probably know this too.

And I really doubt most of those games are even real projects he has worked on. Sounds kinda made-up to me.

EDIT: Although I must disagree with you about the names though. There are many great D-Mods out there with kinda silly names. Some D-Mods I'd never expect to be Epics because of their name: Apex, FIAT, Quest for Dorinthia, Scourger, Secret of Parizaya, World of DinkC.
