I haven't been participating in the polls for two reasons:

-I'm not funny enough to compete in the pollocracy.
-The polls aren't very good.

I only vote to get things moving along. The polls themselves don't leave much for me to make a funny comment. It's just a question with serious answers, or the answers are too vague to make a joke with, or they're funny by themselves.

Seems to be that the best way to respond to a poll in an attempt to get on the Pollocracy, is to come up with something unique as a response (your ticked answer doesn't seem to matter towards what you select).

I mean for the current one I just used every single answer available in my comment, strung together to form a mildly witty response.

Giving a funny response to the basic question asked gives the best comments for me to use in Pollocracy, comments on the answers are much less useful. So, I could select 'throwing' in the current poll and comment 'picking my nose'.

And, of course, you don't have to answer the poll for Pollocracy only.

EDIT: Also, you don't always strike gold. We have an average of over 10 responses per poll, so if I select 3 you're not always going to be in...

I do feel perhaps the polls should have some more jokes in the question/answers themselves. Might get more people to answer them. Just a thought.

Heck, trolling the polls gives you a chance if its funny enough and not... well, stupid.
