hi,

No. Not where you got the file from. Where did you download them onto your computer? What folder are they in?
C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood
?
The location of the file makes it easier for Dfarc to locate them.
Dfarc works right? You can play the original game just fine?

Sounds like the folder is usr/share/games/dink/dmod/cloud_castle_2_scarab-1
I don't really have much experience with freedink but you might want to remove that '-1' part, that could be the problem. But I'm mostly guessing now...

hi,
i play on linux, as no c:
but i put the .dmod in "/usr/share/games/dink/dmod/<name of d-mod>"
as i have try without "-1" and same error
the dir "/usr/share/games/dink/dmod" and all his "son" are in read/write/exec for my main user.

Well I have no experience in Linux so I wouldn't now anything about what to do now.
Are you actually using Freedink for Linux then, or trying to run DFarc?
I have no Linux experience, but from what I know (or may not), DFarc is the Windows launcher while Freedink is what you need for certain other operating systems.

The .dmod files are compressed folders (really tar.gz files). You need to extract the files because FreeDink does not read from the .dmod file. DFArc can extract the files.
