I feel a bit like that Belgian DJ who said he wouldn't shave until the politicians had formed a new administration. He said he didn't expect it to take this long.

I didn't expect it to take this long either, but I don't have a big problem with it. I don't have trouble eating and sleeping (should the beard be under or over the sheets) like he did.

And besides, as long as I haven't released it, I can more easily make incompatible changes. So you should be happy that you didn't see the earlier versions. And I'm happy that I'm not losing fans because of all the trouble that incompatible changes create.

The problem is, the Shevek account's been taken now, and I don't think anybody will be able to take it again, even if it does get fixed, which is also very unlikely. I would take this opportunity, Shevek.

I tried a bit already, but without success so far. I might try a bit more later.

The easiest solution would be to remove the account from the database, so I can register it again. Or to change the associated e-mail address, which is probably just as easy.

A real fix would be for the system to actually send mail to that address. But that would probably require quite a bit of debugging, which I don't think anybody wants to do.

Well we don't have access to the database or mailing system so that's out of the question I guess.
