I know I writed subject really annoying, but really this is imporant for me. Since my grades were really bad a school, my faher banned me from playing computer for a very longtime. Now that I got that grades pretty well, I am again permited to play computer. But now that I played it I feel really bored with my games. Then I installed 3 other games at the same time(which are warcraft 3, prince of persia the two thrones, the movies.) afer that day my computer crashed so we formatted it(I don't know whats format on english sorry maybe it's same) now I don't have my old games too. I only installed Fallout New Vegas but since I finished that game with every ending I am still bored. Now what I want help at is. Which game should I buy. Bu they must be these games:

Dragon Age 2: A frýend told me first game was pretty good(I didn't played it)and I love RPG games. But I don't know one thing. Do I need to buy fýrst game before 2? That makes a dýffýrence?

Assasin's Creed: I didn't played this game too. But If I play thýs game I star from first game.

Star Craft 2: Yeah I didn't played first game. But that makes a difference I need to play that? I want to know that.

Last Note: I want full answers please. I mean(for example) not only buy SC2 explain me why to but that game why you enjoyed it. And at last don't say buy all of em, it's not an option for me. Thanks all... Phew it's hot here and I am tired of writing I am not used to this

Don't buy any of those games. Make a D-Mod instead.

I didn't like AC that much and the other I haven't played. I neither liked SC2 that much, but that's the best of those three options. I would save the money and wait for a better game though, or buy more than one of some older games you didn't get to play in the past.

Dragon age two I love it I'm on the final boss currently.

I played the demo to Dragon Age 2, and it was utter shoot. Generic hack-n-slash with ridicuously over the top flashy moves, stiff and awkward dialogue and annoying characters... I've actually heard people say it's an okay game (a la Mrgantoe) (which I don't believe), but I haven't heard a single person say it's better than the first one. By all means, if you can, get Dragon Age: Origins instead. It's a "spiritual successor" to Baldur's Gate, and while it's not quite as good, it's still a pretty good fantasy RPG (and a lengthy one too).

I also enjoyed StarCraft 2, although I must admit I lost interest in it somewhere closer to the end and never finished. The story isn't particularly riveting, some of the between-missions dialogue is some rather pretentious drivel, and it was too easy (the Terran infantry could rip everything apart, without involving any of the annoying micro management from the first StarCraft), but I still enjoyed the game a lot. Between StarCraft 2 and Dragon Age: Origins, I'd say get whichever you're in the mood for: RPG or RTS?

Assassin's Creed, I haven't played.

Scratched I agree with you origins was better it's just a great time killer .

Ah but I have scratcher assassins creed is a good game it's very open world and basically you get to do fun assassinations Pago islet involving Templar tyranny you travel through different city's jereselem acre and the such. In this one you play as altiar in the other two as exio the story's are particularly good.

I enjoyed Assassin's creed because of the freeform world and unusual environment (ancient middle east). I guess it has a mild Prince of Persia feel, except you're an assassin, not a prince. I have DA:1 and it's good, but I preferred Baldurs' gate... DA has taken too much of a MMORPG feel (vomits). Also, if you enjoyed Fallout:New Vegas and rpgs, you would enjoy TES: Oblivion - it's highly moddable, too

Instead of any of those three games, if you really wanna buy a good, newer game, you should buy Duke Nukem Forever. One of the best games in a long ass time.

Well, after 12 years of production, it may be a little disappointing. But it's the fact that it's DUKE FREAKIN NUKEM why you should buy it! It's the first game since San Andreas, which means it's the first game in a long ass time, that has put gameplay, epic sick and twisted 90's humor and everything else, above graphics. The graphics aren't bad, don't think that (as if it really mattered if they were) but to one's eye they may seem a bit behind their time. I don't give a shoot though, I'm gonna buy it on Monday, when I drive past a bigger store (no new games ever arrive where I live). The videos I've seen are amazing, such as playing football with an alien cyclops' eye. xD

Yeh, Duke Nukem is an awesome game imo. The critics don't think the same though.

I played TES 4 and TES 3 and I love Rpg so I want to ask for a rpg game. And I don't want to buy Duke Nukem, Yeah it's a cool game but I doN't know how good it is and its expensive here. So I want a RPG game.

I didn't know it was an RPG. I am asking here because I want to be certain about the game. I bought Brink a few weeks ago and I really didn'T like it. and I payed 100 um... Turkish Dollars? Really don't know how to tell them.

@Skull DNF first good game since san andreas WTF! what about games like gta 4 COD4 which brought shooters out the very crappy WW2 setting games like gears of war 1 and 2 which the awesome cover system red dead redemption one of the best open world games and games like fallout 3 and new vegas.

IV and COD4 suck. All they brought to us was the fact that the last good game developers sunk as low as every other game company. Only thing those games have is good graphics and "realistic" (HAH!) physics. Nothing else.

The only few good games now are made by the companies that made the console. For example, Sony makes good games on their consoles, Nintendo on their consoles, but Microsoft is just revelling in the joy of Kinect without realizing that there is no good game for it.

GTA 4 is awesome even better than san andreas you dont lose your weapons when you die you are able to lose the cops on 2 stars and more without the pay n spray you can set point where you want go and their is a line that guides you to it.

No gta san andreas was easier you have more health ans the enemies are less accurute.

DA2: You don't really have to play the first game, though it's recommended.

AC: It's a pretty good game, though I have yet to finish it.

SC2: It's recommended that you play the first game to understand the story, but you don't need the first to play. You will, however, have to be on the internet while you play. (For some stupid reason.)

If you really want a good game to play, then I suggest downloading ZSNES and a few game roms. Games to play: Chrono Trigger, Super Castlevania 4, Castlevania: Dracula X (Not Chronicles), Star Ocean, Tales of Phantasia, Secret of Evermore, and any other games you might know of.

Predator, you really are full of shoot. None of those things you mentioned about GTA4 make a good game.

I buyed Dragon Age 2, I couldn't find dragon age origins and there was a um... whats the word in english... But it was 1 free game because I buyed Dragon age, The free games was not good, and I selected Disciples 3 or something like that, is it good?

Yah, predator is a coward, he likes GTA4 because it's easier. I always play games on Hard difficulty so they actually take some time to beat.

You just proved you don't know jack about gaming by saying there are "bad games and good games". There aren't. It's a matter of taste, but you wouldn't understand because every post you have posted here is about your taste being the only real and the best one. Graphics don't make a good game. Gameplay, story, and in some cases the mapping of the game do. Hell, even the music makes a game more than the graphics do. Graphics aren't what make games. Graphics is not game, graphics is art and those who diss good games just because they don't have good graphics, are absolute morons.

Some of it is, but like you said, there are some qualities that can determine whether or not a game is good. I liked the video schnapper linked to here. "Good graphics" (I think the video calls it graphical fidelity) doesn't make a game good, but good aesthetics does. At least it's a necessary part of a good game. A game's aesthetics can be good even if it has simple graphics. Also this is a good article about how a design can be wrong in ways that aren't just a matter of taste.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if someone thinks GTA4 is better than SA. But the way Predator says it, without thinking that others could disagree, gets me annoyed. Plus, San Andreas is still the best-selling PS2 game ever, so I'd say people have pretty much decided.
