Dink's Aesthetics
Having watched this video, I suddnely realised why Dink Smallwood kicks tush, and why we're all a bit nervous about a sequel.
Great video! It's kind of like the complaint I hear about movies a lot: Moviemakers think audiences want flashy visuals, and they skimp on the writing. Why can't we have both? If you have to sacrifice one, I'd rather have a good story. But at the same time, I wouldn't want the visuals to be bad so that they clash with the story. That video makes a good point that the aesthetic is the overall feel of the work.
But why would we be nervous about a Dink sequel, if the original team makes it? Are you thinking of a fan-produced sequel?
