I checked the epic d-mods section and found out there has not been a epic d-mod that has scored exelent since The Scouger which was released in 2005 thats pretty sad.So why hasent there been any new good epic D-mods in last 6 years
The most recent epic is Skulls Historical Hero but that only score in the good section.

there is 5 (serious) epics in production that I know about - so that means there is probably more I guess. 4 of those I think *could* be finished eventually. Saying that my expectations arent too high as not all will actually be finished tho, it takes a huge amount of time to create an epic and do it properly. I prefer a decent game above production speed though

Yep, that's pretty much a problem. I too find it sad that the days of epic DMODs seem to be over. Back in 2001/2002 there were multiple fantastic epics released each year. But since 2005 I can indeed only remember the Scourger and Historical Hero...

Yes, but many of the contest entries were excellent d-mods in their own right. Not epic, but still worth playing for sure.

Yep. There was a slight moment of non-working, for about two months or so, but now it's in quite an active work all the time. Around 150 scripts and about 1½/10 done.

Oh, and Predator, many D-Mods in the "Fair" -section are quite good. Those rated "Good" are usually very good. Those rated "Exceptional" are... exceptional.

The Dark Avilan is coming too, it's near on 75% completion... that figure isn't precisely calculated on what development I have yet to do, of course. It's just a rough estimate.

A dmod doesn't have to be an epic to be good, I actually prefer well-made romps and quests, As I find most epics too long, and an unecessary waste of time unless it's really really good!
