I lost the site to get one of those things that download d-mods so can someone please help? Thanks for trying to help.
One of those things that download d-mods? You mean lik Fileplanet? You can download Dmods off Fileplanet, which is linked through the DN... Click "D-Mods" over on the pretty side panel to the left.
He might mean a download manager. If so , sorry quackers, I have never used one. File planet probably has links to some though.
I have been using Download Accelerater for over a year. It works fine, and the basic unit is free, with some ads.

It can resume if your are cut off in the middle of your download, and it goes faster most times.
