How to install Dmods into your iCancer.
I knew I would get around to this eventually. Here's a little guide on how to install Dmods into Dink Smallwood HD on your iPhone or equivalent and make them come up in the Add on Modules list.
1. Jailbreak your device. (Beyond the scope of this guide.)
2. Set up SSH and use an SFTP client to log into it. (Look it up. Change your password from alpine.)
3. Navigate to the folder /private/var/mobile/Applications
4. You'll see a whole bunch of weird stuff. Look for the correct folder which has RTDINK.app in it.
5. Inside you'll see RTDink.app. Open it up, then look in the "dmods" folder. Delete what's in there if you want, then upload your own dmods from your local computer.
6. Oh wow! It's now worth purchasing!
Here are some screenshots, one is in-game (guess which one and win a prize), the other is my add-on list.

Come on guys! Eye cancer is no laughing matter!
Has anyone actually tried this out yet? I'm starting to think nobody even uses iPhone Dink.

My Goodness, do you fellas actually still play DINK SMALLWOOD after all this time? wow that's so weird
Just to add/clarify this, it should be possible to copy the .dmod file itself into the apps save directory (one level above the dmod directory I guess?) and the next time you play Dink, it will install it for you.
The reason this is the best way is it converts all filenames to lowercase during the process, important as the device is case sensitive and the engine will convert everything to lower case when loading files to get around this problem.
In other news, Dink HD for the Mac App Store was approved WITH dmod support! This signals to me that there is a good chance Dink with DMODs would be accepted on iOS as well, so I'll be trying that.

Get in quick before Jobs gets better and decides otherwise.
I have a hunch Steve is a big Dink fan and probably hangs out here incognito. There are rumors flying that he's been taking time off work to finish his new DMOD, but I dunno...
I have a few ideas of who Steve might be on here... Which probably means his d-mod's going to be added to the perpetually delayed category, next to Necromancer (although I've heard rumors it might be released tomorrow if there are no delays...).
Anyway, it would be awesome if it got through on the iOS front. That would increase the lifetime of Dink on the iDevices tenfold.

Don't speak too of him too highly, he might try and steal your vital organs.
Are you going to make a Palm Pre build as well? I'd buy it.
