What happened to those 'new' icons near posts? (The ones that annoyed everybody since they wouldn't leave after you'd click the topic. )

They should still work... maybe something got messed up. Try clicking 'Read All', and they should return after a while.

Well, if Fileplanet is malfunctioning for you, and the 'New' icons here at the DN are failing to work correctly, then you should consider deleting any and all cookies related to Gamespy. It occasionally goes wacky for me.. and cookie-smashing usually does the trick.

I just did. I use Ad-Aware and Spybot, but nothing changed.

Try manually as well, Ad-Aware only deletes those from advertisement sites, and Spybot... I don't know about that program.. - so try manually deleting them.

Hmmm... I've set my security level a bit lower, now it accepts cookies, and NOW I can see the new icons. Now I'll give FP a try too.

Yep, that did it - it was my high security level that preventede me for accessing FP.
