What do you think of my drawing?
So I drew for the first time in about 4 years. Really, I haven't drawn ANYTHING in that long of a time, so I'm now very rusty. Anyway, I drew a picture and uploaded it to my new blog (which I really hope you check often if you like crazy shoot happening
). Because I am so rusty, I'd like to hear some peoples' opinions. So yep, give me some info what you think. Sorry, it looks kinda bad quality because, as I said, I couldn't find a good way to capture it.

Hehe, gotta love those hyenas. Anyway, I couldn't find any fix-this-or-pic-is-fail problem at all, nice work.

It is good - I think that the neck slope from the shoulders to the head could be steeper to add to the sinister appearance.
Wow, that's good, but it really looks like a hyena from Lion King. Even has the same pose as the main hyena, Shenzi.
EDIT: Oh my gawd, it is Shenzi. Just checked the name on your artwork.
EDIT-EDIT: Or I could have just read the blog instead of just look at the picture and search for a match online. XD

Schnapper, she can't look sinister cause she's laughing. Then again, you are probably right cause you are awesome. However, I find the upper teeth more of a problem. When looked closely, it looks like one of them is cut halfway. I could always say she got in a bit of a fight though, and lost her tooth.

looks good kinda makes me wish that i had a webcam or better yet scanner of my own for my own art.(especially since my digital art skills suck(i don't mind admitting that because i know my hand drawing skills are good(not great but good))
Amazing, completely random fact: Female hyenas don't actually have, erm, rodes (peni?). its actually an uber-large clitorus you can see chilling out there. This is mainly because the Female Spotted Hyena has more testosterone then the male.
It's pretty good, though you could have used better lighting in capturing the drawing.
Kris, 100% agree with you. Though, lighting wouldn't have done it much good. It's more about the other aspects of the quality. Thanks everybody for the nice comments, btw!
EDIT: Also, if anyone knows good ways of capturing drawn images into PC, please tell me.

Very nice! And I would say....scan it? I know there are some pretty cheap ones out there. A lot of people wait until their printer/scanners run out of ink and then sell them because it's usually cheaper to just buy a new one than supplying it with more ink. So unless you need the printer half that's what I would just buy a used scanner with no ink. Keep it up!

Lots and lots of LED flashlights and a digital camera.
