How the fµck is this even possible!?
So, I was on my computer like usually yesterday, and guess did I fµcking get scared when random voices and music from Toy Story, and I mean TOY STORY!! started popping up into my ears, following my nerve-lines into my inner brains and creating a maximum What The Fµck moment. It doesn't even help, that the same thing started happening at the exact same time today as yesterday. Around 23:40. Holy shìt. And how the hell did the computer decide to choose Toy Story out of all things!? Why the crap not Harry Potter, or even Lord of the Rings!? Does the computer have it's own brains all of a sudden!? What the hell is going on?
Don't be alarmed now... The nice man in the white coat is there to help.
Hacked? likely.
Virus? Most likely

Sorry, that was me. Guess I ran too deep into your computer this time.
What are you doing with Toy Story music btw?

If you left more options on your computer besides Toy Story, it wouldn't have been so bad. And stop leaving so much porn in there. You'll seriously gain back 50% of your partition if you get rid of it.
@Evil Earl, but what would he do for leisure if he did that? Listen to Toy Story over and over because it had mutated to take over all the HD space he just released by deleting his l337 porn collection?

I don't have any toy story music on my computer. That's the whole deal.

It was the work of a popup window in the background that played the tune and closed itself after a while.
Most likely. Still scared the crap out of me though.
even more reasons to install a pop-up blocker. especially useful for getting more porn.
also excuse me i have a certain goblin female to woo of her feet.

hell7fire1, do you realise you could have just restarted the computer and/or closed off any processes related to what was playing the music instead?
hello
i said that the problem continued the next day
it did not stop even after i restarted the computer
the crash did not make my computer turn off
(i hand to hang on to alt+f4 for my life)

Then it did not come from your PC. At least, if you stated that you still heard the music while it was restarting, because that is simply not possible (the audio system isn't available during boot).
@Skull: as for suddenly hearing audio on your PC, have you been playing any Flash games, or seeing Flash ads, etcetera? When the browser crashes, Flash may still be active (ghost process) and actually play the sound that you don't know where it's coming from.

Hmmm... well, I didn't hear that anymore after that second one. And nope, I don't usually play any flash games. I have no idea why it happened but at least it doesn't seem to anymore.
The sound card may not be available during boot, but most computers have a speaker built-in (or at least all the computers I have seen do) that has cruse on-board audio hardware, mostly only beeps and blips, but it is used by the BIOS during boot.
Yes, and it is still not possible to continuously hear music, even with the PC speaker.
no the music did not run when the thing was off!idiot!
it turned of (no music)
it turned was turning on(no music)
it was on (music)

Yeah, but my point is that it can still be played during boot-up before the hardware has been initialised, though you would have to have something seriously wrong with your computer for it to play music on it while booting, as it has more important tasks. The speaker can get really loud, and is good at warning users of impending doom, or just a big nuisance if it thinks something is wrong when it isn't clearly obvious and just bursts out a siren until you stop doing whatever you are doing...
