Then it did not come from your PC. At least, if you stated that you still heard the music while it was restarting, because that is simply not possible (the audio system isn't available during boot).
@Skull: as for suddenly hearing audio on your PC, have you been playing any Flash games, or seeing Flash ads, etcetera? When the browser crashes, Flash may still be active (ghost process) and actually play the sound that you don't know where it's coming from.
