Is there some good software to make midis?
I want to make some mids myself, but I don't know what is good...What do you use?Could you please introduce it to me?Thanks
dude theres an awsome midi maker available to download right here at the dn!
wow,that's good!
I wouldn't necessarily consider the one available here to be 'awesome'.
My advice, pathfinder, unless you study music, or at least have basic musical knowledge, just use other, free MIDIs. Making your own really isn't as easy as it seems.
Although it definitely is a rewarding feeling if you complete one that is relatively successful and sounds good. So if you do want a good one, I recommend forking out the cash needed for programs like Sibelius, or NoteWorthy Composer.
I haven't used Sibelius much at all, but I do use an older version of NoteWorthy Composer, but I'm not sure if it's still available anywhere on the web, as it is a trial version.
But here's what I think you should do:
Go to the NoteWorthy Composer site, download the evaluation, and see what you think. Then at the end of the 30 day trial period, if you are unable to use it any longer, either pay for the full version (if you still want it), or tell me, and I'll zip up and send you my older, trial version of NoteWorthy. The thing I like about the older version is that it doesn't have a limit to how long you can use it for, only to how many times you can save each file.
Also, there really isn't too much that the newer version can do that mine can't, so I really don't see the point in ever upgrading, myself.
I hope that helps.

I'll try,thanks anyway
I just use Anvil, it's free and seems to be alright.
I use Noteworthy Composer now after I found Sibelius and Finale too clumsy to use. It's very easy to make basic midis with it, even though it's missing some features Finale had (like making 5-let or 7-lets).
Also, NWC has poor support for importing midi files other than those made with it. They sound and look like crap in the editor.

I use Guitar Pro 4. Contrary to what the name wants you the believe, it supports over a hundred instruments, not just guitars.
