What a tradegy...

You're not the first and it's nothing special either. If it was special it would probably have been a deadly disease and if it would have been a deadly disease you probably wouldn't post about it like this.

Well, name me one Dinker who has had it. And it's not like I'll tell you every detail, but it was pretty bad a few days ago.

If I remember correctly it was thor who told me he had swine flu in the dink chat.

I don't know if I've had it or not, the doctors don't care to check up on any of those who calls in sick to them. All they say is that you must spend seven days at home, but I can take the vaccine now if I ever care to do it.

I had it MONTHS ago, its nothing big or anything at all and I killed it within two weeks, if I remember correctly.

Sure, I had it too. Sadly I died.

Didn't Pillbug had the swine flu too? At least I can remember him saying something like that.

I've never feared the swine-flu really. I said before that I would never take the vaccine, because I've heard it can be as dangerous as actually getting the flu... Then my father had a "wise-man" moment, when he told me that I shouldn't take the vaccine for my own sake (a strong young man could hardly die from it, we believe ) but take it for the people I care about. I could have the virus in my body, without feeling anything at all - but people that I care about could get infected and they might not be as resistance. I'm still unsure if I'm going to take it or not; but I sure as hell wouldn't want to infect my girlfriend or friends. I might take the vaccine after all.

Tragedy?! I had that a month ago! It lasted a week and all I did was cough and have a sore throat, H1N1 is a bit better than the regular flu.
Besidesm everyone seems to think the Swine flu was either a govt' conspiracy, or a bio-weapon the Terrorists used to poison Pork products, HAH! everytime i hear that conspiracy; I laugh, tell them that it's not a Food Bourne Illness like Salmonella or Botulism, and that it's perfectly alright to go to maxico for a week in tiajuana with their dad. (that last part, a kid named Jeremy wore a gas mask to school to keep the 'swinies''s germs away, he had to be sent home. ahhh... memories.)

Glad you got off easy, Kris. I was puking (sometimes blood) and coughing for 3 days. I was also extremely "weak" all the time, and my lungs and stomach hurted VERY much. I'm so happy it's over (atleast for) now.

As far as flus go, i have yet to hear about one where you cough up , are you sure you weren't swallowing swords and nearly missed the jugular?
