Are all Skeletons equal?
Just asking cause some DMods have horrible dark circles around edges of water and some dont - it doesnt seem to matter which bit you pick - it creates a dark spot. But.... I have a dmod in err... production
and that one the water is fine... so I ask - are all skeletons equal or do they have different tiles in em?? If so which is best......

All skeleton's use the same tiles, as the tiles are not even included in the skeleton, they are loaded from the "Tiles" folder in the Dink directory.
Not sure about the dark circles.
Not sure about the dark circles.

Some skeletons add one extra tileset to replace one of the old ones, though i don't think any replace the water tiles.
You should post a screenshot of what you mean, then perhaps someone could help you more.
Any hints on how to locate the pics in dink (as in the mountains, water, paths etc and change them in paintshop? Or is there a list of what the other tiles are called somewhere so I can find the suckers and change em??? I see others do that from time to time........
The tiles are in the original Dink's directory in a folder called "tiles".
<your drive>:/<install directory>/dink/tiles/
e.g:
C:/Program Files/Dink Smallwood/dink/tiles/

ok thanks found them - but how does changing those effect my dmod? Do I have to put em under mine and if so how do I point the game to use them (yes I am feelin a tad blonde here)
If you put the edited tiles into your D-Mod directory in the 'tiles' folder, they should automatically be used instead of the defaults. The Dink engine always look for something in a D-Mods directory before using a default, which saves some time telling it where to find everything.
Awesome - Thank u Fireball5 your wisdom is exceeded only by your beautifully bright lurker picture (seriously tho thanks)
