The Dink Network

How do you import icons for the Dink Network? And also, does it take any programing skills to make DMODs? Thanks, Kriss.

Alas, you cannot import your own icons for the Dink Network; you're stuck with what's given to you. Unless...

If you make a D-Mod and make an entirely new character/monster/whatever (with new graphics and everything), you can ask redink1 about setting that character as your icon, and yours alone.

And finally, yes, coding is an integral part to creating D-Mods. Many of the events in the game run off of scripts full of code. Someone else may be willing to explain in more detail..

If you don't have any experience at all, you could try Rudiments of Scripting: it for real beginners. I didn't had any experience when I started, but I learned it too, so I'm sure you can too.

Oh, you'd have to read some old Dink Network (well, it was quite recent really, but for you it'll be old.. like as we say "in the old days" ) history to understand why.. there is a really strange story about it.. even a strange board-thread... heh
