It's not bullshoot, it's just a user named 1 without any proper avatar settings. My bet would be that it's a test account for when they first started this site, but I may be wrong.
Probably not, I don't think such an account would have a public email address. It's rather weird... 
So email 'em and ask him what's this all about.
