I did some window updates last week and boy was that a mess. Everything seems to be screwed up now. Couldn't get the dmods nor original game to play, do I deleted the program and re-downloaded the whole thing. Now the original game and mystery isle will play but not the dmods. A box pops up that reads "Access violation at address 0040371d in module 'dink front end.exe'. Read of address FFFFFFF7."

Does anybody know what this means?
And how to correct the problem?

1) Dink Frontend has problems if too many D-Mods are installed... try deleting a few you know you're never going to play again.

2) If you don't want to do that (or if deleting D-Mods doesn't seem to be working), you could download another frontend, like CustomFE.

Any fool can use a computer. Many do.
You don't have to delete D-Mods, just make them hidden. You can have a max of 50 normal D-Mods folders, make all the others hidden. This way, you don't have to install a D-Mod again.
