My dad bought a new computer today (AMD 1400 oh yeah) but somehow I don't see the 'new' images anymore. Who can help?

AMD 1400? IS 1400 the processor speed, or is it a athlon 1400? If it's a athlon 1400, you allready need to upgrade.

I think he bought a AMD athlon 1400+ XP ( thats 1.1 ghz ) or he has a AMD Athlon 1400mhz, but the XP is just as fast as the 1.4 normal one.

All you need now is a ATI radeon 9700 or whatever is the best video card out there and you should be able to run all the games today without any problems except for Elderscrolls 3. By the way, how much ram do you have and what is your OS?

I have no idea what OS is (I don't know much about computers...) but I have 320 Mb RAM

TheProphet, you have no clue what you are talking about.

As for the radeon 9700, you will notice little diffrence unless you get into resolutions above 1024x768x16 in games. Also, if you get directx 9, there is a HUGE diffrence.

If you used PriceWatch.com then you might be able to get a nice price. I got mine for $220.

I have a 2.0 ghz comp with 512 RAM got it at good deal to!
