A useful file for people who are interested in the real programmnig side of things. C++ and Direct X. It has a brief summary readme file that lists the contents in summary form.

If you aren't a programmer, or don't want to be one, you don't need this file.

Useful (extremely useful I imagine) for those that do program.

I concur with WC: the WinDinkedit code is an invaluable resource. I have just begun learning C++, and have found the code quite enlightening. Not as enlightening as hex-editing D-Mod files to understand their underlying structure... but that is probably just me.

Some of the comments in the code seem outdated, and refer to things that the code doesn't do any more. And there isn't a detailed readme.txt which explains what everything does, and where the code is. And for those flaws, I knock off 0.1 points.

But if you have any understanding of programming languages, you should be able to understand the code even with faulty comments and the lack of an explanation.

This is the MFC-C++-Direct x source code for WinDinkEdit. If you wish to make a d-mod editor, or wish to try and make a engine or engine add-on you will more than likely want to look at this code.

This code si given a 9.9 becuase nothing can match the value it holds, and it could possibly open a new world in d-mod editing. The complex coding in the app is very organized, and clean making things easy to add/remove/ or modify.
